SMALL GROUP MAT CLASSES

Class Overview:

Pilates Matwork is a series of exercises created by Joseph and Clara Pilates combining strength and stretching to build flexibility.
The matwork is appropriate for virtually every body and is taught for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of fitness.
Please bring your own mat. Class size is limited to 4 students.

  • Pilates Mat 1
    Mat 1 introduces the basic principles of Pilates, emphasizing breath, spine position, and the basic 10 exercises designed to
    increase core strength and flexibility. All new clients are asked to complete Mat 1 before proceeding to other class levels.

  • Pilates Mat 2
    Mat 2 teaches the 20 intermediate skill level exercises designed to challenge the core and increase overall strength.

  • Pilates Ball and Balance (B&B)
    Along with balance exercises from Standing Pilates, stability balls and mini-balls intensify your workout. Balls provided.

    Class sizes are limited and are available by series only. We regret we cannot accommodate walk-ins. To join the waiting list,

    Fees: 4-class Series: $100. Cash and personal checks are accepted.
