Studio owner Kerry Spear has been a certified Pilates Matwork, Standing and Apparatus instructor in the Palo Alto area since 2000. Certified in 2002 as a Post-Rehabilitation Pilates Practitioner through Polestar International, she is uniquely able to assess and create appropriate programs for clients of all fitness levels. For over 18 years she has been a personal trainer certified through the American Council on Exercise. Kerry also leads group fitness, yoga, healthy back, and Pilates classes at Stanford University. She completed Level 3 Core Align instructor training in 2011, and Balanced Body's Passing the Torch year long mentoring program with Tom McCook in 2013, and in 2016 became a Bohdi Suspension System trainer through Balanced Body University. She completed Level 1 Tai Chi Fit and Qigong Specialist training in 2017. Most recently, she certified as a Student Instructor of Foundation Training in Boulder, CO.
